Port Blair, Mar 15: A delegation of SAHYOG, NGO, under Darpan, NITI AAYOG programme headed by Mr. GP Mishra, President, SAHYOG and Mr. Arockia Raj, Joint Secretary, SAHYOG had met Secretary (Health) yesterday on the public grievances received by Mr. Selvam, General Secretary, SAHYOG. During the meeting, Mr. GP Mishra, requested the Secretary (Health) to issue necessary instructions to the concerned officials to repair of the BC-1200 Chemistry Analyzer (Blood Testing Instruments) at GB Pant Hospital, Port Blair, which developed technical fault since a month ago. This resulted halt of Blood Testing Report of OPD patients. Mr. GP Mishra, also informed Secretary (Health) that there were many Diabetic Patients & other disease patients, whose treatment is dependent on the Blood Test Report. Secretary (Health) assured for swift action on priority and he directed concerned officials to initiate action in this regard. SAHYOG expressed gratitude to the Secretary (Health) for caring of public concerns and swift action.
